一个方便的食物成分检测的App

Bobby Parrish of FlavCity 是一个有5千万粉丝的大V， 我下载他的Bobby Approved App, 到店里买东西时，打开APP扫描一下条形码，95%以上的东西的成分都能显现出来了，所有糖、色素、化学成分、过分加工的植物油、添加剂和防腐剂，等等都是红色，还解释他们为啥不健康。安全成分的产品会显示绿色，即Bobby Approved，可以放心吃。

我用这个App后，在Costco, Walmart, Target, Aldi, Sprouts 等买菜时，很多东西都不买了，因为成分不健康，很容易让慢性炎症堆积在身体里，引发和加重各种慢性病。当然我也因此找到了不少成分安全的食品。

注意：水至清而无鱼了，从食物的选择和经济情况，很少人包括我是能做到100%吃得完全健康的，因为食物选择的限制和好食材带来的经济压力。所以有时也不要过分死板，看自己对某个成分的容忍度。

比如，我有一次在Costco买了一包鸡翅膀，多数成分还是不错的，但加了corn starch 和一点糖，所以是Not Bobby Approved的，但我还是买了。

Bobby Parrish from FlavCity is a major influencer with a following of 50 million. I recently downloaded his Bobby Approved app, and it has changed how I shop. When I’m at the store, I simply open the app and scan the barcode; over 95% of products are in the database.

The app highlights ingredients like added sugars, artificial dyes, chemical additives, highly processed vegetable oils, and preservatives in red, explaining exactly why they are unhealthy. Products with clean, safe ingredients are marked in green as "Bobby Approved," meaning you can eat them with peace of mind.

Since I started using this app at stores like Costco, Walmart, Target, Aldi, and Sprouts, I’ve stopped buying many items I used to reach for. I’ve realized that unhealthy ingredients can easily lead to chronic inflammation, which triggers or worsens various chronic diseases. On the flip side, the app has also helped me discover plenty of hidden gems with truly safe ingredients.

A Note of Realism: As the saying goes, "Water that is too clear has no fish"—don’t be too rigid. Few people including myself can eat 100% "clean"due to food choices and financial reasons. It all depends on your personal tolerance for certain ingredients.

For example, I once found a bag of chicken wings at Costco where most of the ingredients were great, but it contained a little corn starch and sugar, so it wasn't "Bobby Approved." I bought it anyway. These are the exceptions, not the rule.
